10th Annual Ride For The Heroes

Hello IVHOG”ers:

The 10th annual Ride For The Heroes is coming up fast on June 2nd. We will be signing in and staging at Hannums starting at 7:00am. Please note that this will be taking the place of our stated Chapter meeting. KSU will be promptly at 9:00 and we will head to the 9-11 Memorial Garden of Reflection (35 miles). We will have a police escort from Hannums to intersection 113 and 611. From there the the other agencies along the route have been informed that we will be coming and will block the major intersections for us in their jurisdictions. The overall rating of ride including Hannums and the Ride For The Heroes, which goes through New Hope and New Jersey, is rated at 2 (Intermediate) and approximately 85 miles one way. Helmets required in New Jersey. The Ride For the Heroes itself is approximately 50+ miles and will end at the FOP Picnic Grounds, 82 Scott Road, Bedminster Township, Pa. @ 1:30ish. Looking forward to seeing everyone there and having a great ride and a fantastic day .

I am including the ride route to Garden of Reflection for your reference. If you set your odometer to 0 at Hammums, all turns will be at the distances marked below in red. As I stated at the last chapter meeting, with blockers and police assistance we leave no one behind during this leg.
