In Memoriam – Richard Weber
Richard (Dick) Weber passed away peacefully at the age of 86 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was the beloved husband of Edna, and they were married for 65 years this past December. She has lovingly cared for him since his Parkinson’s diagnosis over 12 years ago. Dick lived in Abington most of his life and graduated from Abington High School. He was the son of Charles and Eva Weber.
He is survived by his wife Edna, his three daughters, Deborah Wanner (John), Virginia Romano (Jim) and Sandra Kester (Bryan). Dick has six grandchildren, John & Tara, Jim & Megan and Amanda & Cameron, and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Charles (Chuck) Weber and a sister Kay Edler. Dick retired from Philco-Ford as a field engineer. He we an active member of the U.S. Naval Reserves from which he retired at the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
All are invited to a visitation at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 on Saturday, April 29 from 11:00 am-noon, and a memorial service at noon.
