IVHOG Chapter Meeting Notes – Jan-2025

Chapter Meeting

Director:

• Next year – members should consider running for officer positions.  Some of the current officers have been in their positions for many years.
• Holiday Party – 47 guests currently attending.  Need 60 guests otherwise need to modify menu.
• Benefit for Mike Martin – Saturday, March 8^th at the Forrest Lodge VFW in Sellersville, PA from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.
• Hotel information from previous meeting – The Mingo Saloon & Lodge (West Virginia)
• If you have an ideal for a ride, bring it up to one of the Road Captains.
• Discussed Russell Smith and Gary Ryan.

GM Freedom Valley:

• A lot of inventory at dealer 2024’s –  one 2023 left – good deals
• 2025’s worldwide reveal – January 23^rd at 6:00 P.M.
• Chili Cook-Off – February 1^st.

Road Captain:

• New Years Day ride was a success – 15 bikes
• Road Captain’s Breakfast – tentative date of March 9^th at 9:00 A.M. at the Moose

Membership:

• 69 members (2 new).  This number does  not include any renewals today

Merchandise

• It’s cold – have sweatshirts and long sleeve t-shirts available.

Webmaster:

• Reminder that if membership dues are not paid, there is a grace period until 3/1 before log in will be disabled and permissions will be changed on Meet Up.

Ladies of Harley:

• Saturday, January 11^th at 12:00 P.M. – vase painting at Sandy Kester’s house
• Saturday, February 1^st – Chili Cook-Off at Freedom Valley 
• Sunday, February 16^th at 12:00 P.M. at J.T.  Bankers
• Holiday Party – tickets available – can Venmo Mary Ellen
• Working on tie-dye and rescheduling pistol shooting events for May/June

Treasurer 

• Separate report on available funds; income and use.
