Chapter Meeting

Director:

Discussed how to bring in new, younger members.

A decision was made not to have a holiday party this year due to a small turnout last year.  Members were asked to raise their hands if there was interest in having a dinner at the Moose after the Fall Foliage ride.  Many seemed interested.  Will begin to look into details.

Mike Martin fund raiser – final amount raised was $18,000.

Assistant Director:

Discussed new bills (right to repair/lemon law).  

Abate has a new website.

Discussed various Harley Davidson programs on the app (Ridge 365, Ride for the Heros)

No info yet if there will be a Sunrise Service at Lake Nockamixon.  If details become available, it will posted on Meet Up.  

On Easter Sunday I am doing a ride to services at Journey Church if anyone is interested.

Treasurer

• Separate report on available funds; income and use.

Head Road Captain

• Could change date of Fall Foliage ride to accommodate dinner (move from Sunday to Saturday)
• Spring Tune Up Ride – ride will depend on weather conditions.

Safety Officer:

Everyone is being distracted today, by cell phones, etc. and driving around in larger heavier vehicles and it is our responsibility to been seen.  Don’t hang by the white line, need to be closer to the yellow line.  Stay out of blind spots.  The only thing going for us is our headlights and the sound of our bikes.

Membership:

• 111 members
• The members’ list has been cleaned up and is now aligns with Harley David National.
• Reminder if you buy a new bike to let him know – free one-year club membership

Merchandise:

• Last day running sale on t-shirts – $15.
• New t-shirts available next month…good assortment.

Webmaster:

• Advised members there is a new tab on the website which shows the Chapter Meeting Minutes.
• Bonnie has raffle tickets for Red Hill Gun Club if interested.

LOH:

• Thanked those that attended Bingo at the Moose.
