Thank You IVHOG
I would like to thank all of the members of IV HOG that took time out of their busy weekend schedules to join in on some very meaningful events. Saturday we went out in full force to Fort Indiantown Gap Memorial Cemetery for an event honoring veterans. Although I did not do a full count, I would guess that we were about 50 bikes strong that day !!! At the Cabela’s staging location, the Prez of another club asked me how I got so many members out that day. I quickly told him that I do not have to do anything to get anyone out other than make the event known to everyone and they take it from there. Long day, a little rain, then bright sunshine and high humidity !! Thank you to those that attended.
On Monday, again, IV HOG outdid itself. We were about 15 to 20 bikes strong for our annual Whitemarsh Memorial Park run, lead by George Wagenseller. This event featured one of Judy Macy’s students who won the essay contest. We got mentioned several times during the speeches for our dedication and attendance, year after year.
I have said it before and I am sure that I will be saying it again many more times in the future, I could not be any more proud to represent such an active, caring group of folks who not only look out for each other, but also for worthwhile causes.
Thank you for making IV HOG stand out in the crowd.
Pete
